Move the work forward without chasing every detail.
When priorities compete, handoffs stall, and decisions keep coming back to you, the operating structure needs attention. EOB Consulting helps founders and leadership teams put clear ownership, useful routines, and reliable follow-through in place.
Start with one operating problem.
The 30-Day Operations Reset is the starting point when the problem is clear. An assessment helps define the work when it isn't. Ongoing support keeps an established system running and improving.
Operations Assessment
For a team that knows something isn't working but needs to identify where to start. We review the relevant workflows, speak with the people involved, and trace where ownership, information, or decisions get stuck. You receive a prioritized action plan with recommended changes, dependencies, and a proposed implementation scope.
30-Day Operations Reset
For a defined process that needs to work better. We rebuild one agreed workflow, such as leadership decision tracking, a recurring reporting cycle, or a handoff between teams. The engagement includes a baseline review, clear roles, working templates and tracking, team walkthroughs, and a documented handover. The 30-day working period starts once the agreed access and team availability are in place; larger projects are scoped separately.
Ongoing Operations Support
For a team that needs help maintaining its operating routines after implementation. A monthly engagement can include reporting, decision and action tracking, system upkeep, and agreed improvements. Responsibilities, capacity, and communication cadence are defined in the scope and reviewed together.
Each engagement has a written scope, fee, and schedule agreed before work begins. If the problem is already clear, you can start with a reset without a separate assessment. Additional work is agreed before it's added.
The work is designed for founders, executives, and the operators supporting them, especially when growth or a leadership transition exposes gaps in how work moves.
- Leadership meetings end with decisions, but owners and next steps remain unclear.
- The same executive has to chase updates before anything moves.
- A project crosses teams and the handoffs keep slipping.
- Reports take too long to assemble and still leave leaders without the information they need.
- A new leader needs a workable planning, communication, and review rhythm.
Define it. Put it in place. Make it usable.
The scope names the process, the people involved, and how we'll judge whether it's working better. That might mean fewer overdue actions, faster handoffs, or less time preparing a recurring report.
Describe the situation
Email a short description of your organization, what's getting stuck, and your preferred timing. We'll discuss fit and the right starting point.
Agree on the work
We define deliverables, responsibilities, access, fees, and a schedule. Your team identifies an internal owner and the people needed for decisions and testing.
Implement and hand over
For a reset, we build and test the workflow with your team, document how to run it, and review the agreed measures. Ongoing support is a separate choice.
Tools follow the work. Where automation or AI can reduce repetitive steps, we agree on its use, access, and review requirements with your team. The goal is a process people can understand and maintain.
The work EOB writes about, applied inside your organization.
EOB Consulting is led by Adrienne Gaughan, founder and editor of The Exec Ops Brief, drawing on her experience as a chief of staff, executive assistant, and business operations lead. The practice covers leadership coordination, priorities, decisions, reporting, and the processes that keep work moving.
The publication helps executive assistants, chiefs of staff, and operations professionals develop their craft. Consulting helps organizations put that work into practice. The library, free tools, and The Brief remain free. Consulting engagements are provided through The Exec Ops Brief LLC.
