Privacy Policy
The Exec Ops Brief ("we," "us," or "the site") operates execopsbrief.com. This policy explains what information we collect, why, and what you can do about it. We keep it short on purpose.
What we collect
- Your email address, when you subscribe to The Brief or request a free download. This is the main thing we collect, and you give it to us on purpose.
- Basic usage data, such as which pages you visit and which emails you open or click. This is standard website and email analytics, collected to understand what is useful and improve the site.
- Anything you send us directly, such as a message through our contact form or a reply to an email.
We do not ask for your name to subscribe, and we do not collect sensitive personal information.
How we use it
- To send you The Brief and any download you requested.
- To improve our content, tools, and the roles we curate.
- To respond to you when you contact us.
We do not sell your email address or personal information to anyone.
Who handles your data
We use trusted third-party services to run the site and the newsletter, including an email marketing platform to store subscriber emails and send The Brief, and standard website analytics. These providers process your data on our behalf under their own privacy terms.

Terms of Use
By using execopsbrief.com, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.
What the site is
The Exec Ops Brief is a free resource hub and newsletter for executive-operations professionals. We publish articles, downloadable templates and guides, and a curated list of job openings, and we send a weekly email called The Brief.
Use of our content
Our articles, templates, guides, and other materials are provided for your personal and professional use. You may use our free templates and checklists in your own work. You may not resell, republish, or redistribute our content as your own, or present it as part of a competing product, without written permission.
The job listings
We curate job openings from the market and check them before we share them, but we do not employ, endorse, or vet the companies behind them. We are not a recruiter or an agency, we are not party to any hiring decision, and we cannot guarantee that a listing is current, accurate, or still open. Always do your own research before applying or accepting a role. Comp ranges shown are drawn from the listings and public data and are not offers.
No professional advice
Our content is general information, not legal, financial, career, or professional advice for your specific situation. Salary figures, role definitions, and market claims are researched and sourced, but they are informational only. Use your own judgment and consult a qualified professional where it matters.
Third-party links
The site links to third-party websites, tools, and training. We do not control those sites and are not responsible for their content, products, or practices. Following an external link is at your own risk.
No warranty and limitation of liability
The site and everything on it are provided "as is," without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent allowed by law, we are not liable for any loss or damage arising from your use of the site, our content, our downloads, or any job listing or third-party resource we mention.
Changes to the site and these terms
We may change, add, or remove content and features at any time, and we may update these terms. Continued use of the site after a change means you accept the updated terms.

Disclaimer
Read this before you act on anything here. The short version: we are an independent resource, our content is information rather than advice, and we cannot promise any career outcome.
Information, not professional advice
Everything on The Exec Ops Brief is provided for general informational purposes. It is not legal, financial, career, or professional advice for your specific situation, and using the site does not create any professional or advisory relationship. Decisions about your career, your money, and your next role are yours to make.
No guarantee of a job, a role, or any outcome
Nothing on this site, in our newsletter, or in any product we sell guarantees that you will be hired, promoted, land an interview, reach a particular salary, or achieve any specific result. Executive-operations hiring is competitive and depends on factors outside our control. We can give you the map and the tools. We cannot walk the path for you.
Not a recruiter or employer
We are not a recruiter, staffing agency, or employer, and we are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or acting on behalf of the companies whose roles we curate. We are not party to any hiring decision. Job listings and comp figures are gathered from the market and public data, may change or expire, and are not offers. Always confirm the details directly with the employer before you rely on them.
Sourced, but not warranted
Salary figures, role definitions, and market claims are researched and sourced to the best of our ability, but we cannot guarantee they are complete, current, or right for your circumstances. Use your own judgment and consult a qualified professional where it matters.
Refund Policy
The Exec Ops Brief is free to read and free to subscribe to. This policy applies to any paid digital product we sell, such as guides, templates, and downloads bought directly through the site.
Our 30-day guarantee
Every paid digital product comes with a 30-day money-back guarantee. If you are not satisfied for any reason within 30 days of your purchase, email us and we will refund what you paid, in full. You do not have to justify the request.
How to request a refund
Email us at hello@execopsbrief.com from the address you used to buy, and include your order number or receipt. We aim to reply within two business days and to process approved refunds within five business days, back to your original payment method.
Instant downloads
Because our products are delivered as instant digital downloads, you keep any files you have already downloaded. We simply ask that you delete your copies once a refund is issued, as your license to use the product ends at that point.
Before you file a chargeback
If something went wrong, please give us the chance to make it right first. A short email is faster than a chargeback, and we would rather fix the problem or refund you directly. Questions about a purchase or refund: hello@execopsbrief.com. Our mailing address is The Exec Ops Brief, 123 E San Carlos St #144, San Jose, CA 95122.
Affiliate and Referral Disclosure
We believe in being straight about how the site makes money.
The Exec Ops Brief is free to read and free to subscribe to. We do not sell anyone's time or fractional services. The site is supported in part by evergreen digital products we may offer, and by referral relationships with training and tools we think are genuinely worth your attention.
Affiliate links
Where we link to other tools, products, or training and earn a commission, we disclose it the same way, either on the page or near the link. Earning a referral fee never changes what we recommend or how honestly we describe it.
Questions
If you ever want to know whether a specific link is a referral link, email us at hello@execopsbrief.com and we will tell you.
